Creative director

Darko Miladinović is a renowned Creative Director with over 30 years of experience in advertising, design, and brand development. He co-founded the influential design studio TANDAR in the 1990s and, in the early 2000s, became the co-founder and creative director of ARMADA, one of Slovenia’s most prominent creative agencies. He later transitioned into brand consulting, working with iconic companies like BMW, Gorenje, ASKO, and PharmaHemp.

Throughout his career, Darko has led major projects across marketing, sales strategies, brand development, and industrial and interior design. He has carried out in-depth user research, developed advertising and interactive campaigns, and helped define the strategic direction of numerous well-known brands. His work has received multiple awards — including the RED DOT Design Award and Best of Nations — and has been featured at venues such as the Viedram Festival in Rome, the Walker Art Center, and the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in New York. His title design for the TV series “Brat-Bratu” was recognized by the Art of the Title platform and praised internationally.

His creative process is closely connected to dynamic collectives, which he forms around the needs of each project. Known for his collaborative spirit, Darko often works with artists across disciplines — from Zora Stančič and Magnifico to Rambo Amadeus, Laibach, and Branko Đurić – Đuro.

He is driven by a spirit of exploration, curiosity, and enthusiasm, constantly seeking design opportunities at the intersection of the modern and the forgotten, the forgotten and the unexplored.
