Our Roots & Journey
From a small family tradition in cosmetics back in 1965, to one of Europe’s pioneers in CBD oils, extracts, and innovative hemp-based solutions – our journey has always been about people, nature, and quality.
We’re proud to be based in Slovenia, where green landscapes and clean environment inspire everything we do. From sourcing, extracting, formulating, to testing, every step happens under one roof by our dedicated team of scientists and creators.
Our misson
At PharmaHemp, our mission is simple: to create high-quality, science-backed products that support balance, vitality, and everyday well-being.
What started decades ago as a small family business in cosmetics has grown into an internationally recognized company with its own laboratories, research team, and production facilities. From the very beginning, we’ve stayed true to our values: transparency, safety, and respect for nature.
It all started in 1965 with a small family-run cosmetics company, Pharmachem – the first of its kind in former Yugoslavia.
Fast forward to 1997, and we launched our first hemp-infused body care line, Extravaganja, which is still loved by many today.
In 2012, we created one of Europe’s first hemp extracts.
Our iconic 5% CBD oil in olive oil hit the shelves. Innovation quickly became our signature.
We established PharmaHemp Laboratories®, registered key trademarks, and earned GMP certification for cosmetics. R&D became part of our DNA.
Certified, tested, trusted. From FDA audit approvals to child-safe droppers and lab accreditations—we leveled up. We also registered our brands: Dr. Kent®, Mikka®, Cosmo Hemp’s®, and RUN CBD®.
We secured GMP certification for food supplements, along with ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and HACCP certifications.
